what to do about bush?
i've been thinking, & thinking about what the 50% of us, who are disgusted with how this country is being manipulated, & i have come up with an absolutely brilliant idea, of which will never be acted upon. boycott bush for the next 2 yrs!! i mean, no reporters at his press conferences, no reference to him, or cheney, or rummy, etc, etc..... in the nytimes, nor any other newspaper that is just as disgusted as i am. i could go on & on describing what the liberal media should o, but won't, but what would be the point? the concept is too subtle.
in a similar vein, i have also suggested of having an evening where everyone eating out, regardless of what kind of restaurant, to NOT order an alcoholic beverage to protest the ridiculous greedy mark-ups. maybe, the owners would get the message, but again, people have no backbone. they will complain, but when shown a way to "vote", they demure.

current state of affairs 10/2006
happy to live n U.S.- what's not to like? bush is still prez, cheney is still vp, rummy is still defense secty, iraq is very far away - what's not to like?
