"IF i were KING", i would
a) impeach bush/cheney
b) have only 1 Senator/state, &
c) a max of 4, min of 1 representative/state in the House
d) natl expenditures only for project/item intended - no add-ons, i.e. "pork"
e) re: the Constitution, recognize this is 2007, not 1787!
f) place the onus on states, & their Governor - re: allocation of Federal spending
g) re-institute the Draft! that s/involve the youth in natl affairs(?)
h) either abolish the most dysfunctional state assembly - NY!! or, clean up!!!!
i) withdraw immediately from Iraq! &
j) prosecute ALL those who cheated, stole, etc ... from the rebuilding efforts, &
k) take allocated funds from Iraq & use for education, the poor, etc...
l) rebuild levees in N.O., remove mayor of N.O., declare martial law
m) balance the federal budget, & reduce the current acct/trade deficits
n) investigate the SEC, enforce front-running w/mandatory jail sentences
o) continue to streamline all government - federal & state - wring out waste
p) establish universal health care
q) increase the tax on gasoline by $5!
r) those that want to produce ethanol - do so, but WITHOUT govt support!
s) removing all tax breaks for oil industry!
t) establish fed guidelines for executive pay tied to revenue/sales & E's perf.
u) make boards of directors criminally responsible for their lack of oversight
this is a good start!!!!!
